Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information the Systematic Reviews Network (SRN) collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run our training, events, and communications — nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.

What we collect

We only hold information you give us directly, through one of our forms:

  • When you register for an event: your name, email, institution, and country.

  • When you apply to a programme: the same details plus your motivation for applying.

  • When you join the newsletter: your email address.

  • When you contact us or enquire about a partnership: your name, email, and message.

  • When you donate: your name (or nothing, if you give anonymously), email, and any message. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never reach our servers.

Why we use it

We use your information to confirm registrations, review applications, send the occasional newsletter you asked for, reply to your messages, and issue donation receipts. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Who processes it

We keep your data with a small number of trusted providers who act on our instructions:

  • Our database and file storage are hosted on Supabase.

  • Payments and donations are processed by Paystack, which handles card details directly; we receive only a confirmation and a reference.

  • Confirmation and newsletter emails are sent through Resend.

How long we keep it

We keep registration and application records for as long as we need them to run the programme and meet our reporting obligations, and newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, except where we are required to retain a record (for example, a payment reference).

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email, and you can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. To do any of these, email us at info@systematicreviewsnetwork.org.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use only what is needed for the site and secure checkout to work.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. When we do, we will revise the date shown on this page.
